Where can I use eCredit Delta?

Delta provides the eCredit option that acts as a voucher that provides several different ways to save big on future trips. You can use the credit up to 5 per passenger. Before utilizing the e-credit, it really needs to check the expiration date because many credits may not be redeemed or reissued with the new expiration date. The e-credits can be used to pay for a Delta flight ticket and any government-imposed taxes and fees. It has to be remembered that the certificate or credit has no cash value.

Delta e-credit will be valid in the following condition 

• Delta e credit is unused or partially used past date ticket.
• Delta travel voucher is received when an e-ticket is exchange for the residual value.
• Delta dollars were received for denied boarding compensation from an oversold flight.
• A transportation credit voucher was received as compensation for a service issue. 
• Miscellaneous charges will be issued when a ticket exchange results in the residual value and the valid form of payment for the ticket is different than a credit card. 
• If it is an e-gift certificate. 

Can you use Delta eCredit for a hotel?

Yes, you may use Delta e-credit for hotels, but generally, the e-credit is used only for publishing fares and government-imposed ticket taxes or charges. It can not be used to pay for other baggage or charge fees. 

Can I use Delta eCredit for baggage?

No, you cannot use Delta eCredit for baggage; instead, you can use the credit to book future flights. 

How to find the eCredit to book the flight?

• You can find the e-credit to book the flight by searching for the email, including your flight receipt link, click on it.
• Now, you need to scroll down to the flight receipt section in the email. The ticket number will be the first item listed there.
• You can use your ticket number, credit card, or Skymiles account. You can also search for the e-credit at Delta.com/redeem.
• Choose from the drop-down options and select the e-credit option, then enter the necessary information into the fields and click the look-up button to begin the search.
• Finally, you can find the e-credit and begin validating by entering the first and last name of the original ticket holder and then clicking the add button.
